If this course does not commend itself to the Government, then it may be that the Government, in com- pliance with Rules made or to be made under the powers contain- ed in Section 3 of Ordinance 12 of 1899, might grant to our clients the sole right of collecting and dealing in sheils within the area mentioned for a term of years.

Our clients request the favourable con-

sideration of the Government towards their claim, in consider-

ation of the unfortunate circumstances in which they have been

placed through no fault of their own.
